The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Philippines is the overall policy making body, coordinating, and grants giving agency for the preservation, development and promotion of Philippine arts and culture; an executing agency for the policies it formulates; and task to administering the National Endowment Fund for Culture and the Arts (NEFCA) — fund exclusively for the implementation of culture and arts programs and projects.

Iloilo is a province of the Philippines, located in the center of the Philippine archipelago. The province comprises the southeastern part of Panay Island with island-province of Guimaras just across its coast. The capital city of the province of Iloilo is the City of Iloilo, which is also one of the major urban centers in the Philippines. It is nicknamed “the Heart of the Philippines”.

Western Visayas, also known as Region VI, is located in Central Philippines and is comprised of two major islands, Panay and Guimaras and a number of outlying islands. The region is composed of five (5) provinces namely: Aklan, Antique, Capiz and Iloilo, in Panay Island, and the province of Guimaras, which is an island province.

Art+ Magazine (formerly Contemporary Art Philippines) is a bi-monthly, full-color, glossy magazine committed to chronicling the ascendance of Filipino art and artists as they grow ever more prominent here and in the international art scene. It is the flagship publication of Southeast Asian Heritage Publishing Inc., an independent Filipino-owned publishing company established in 2008.
