Nature of work

This collection of visual abstraction is link into my past and present memory as I carefully compose the elements that gives Identity to my work. I used a variety of colors and brush strokes that could describe the specific subject and phenomena. I took a risk to share the void that I am experiencing and showing my vulnerability as an Individual. Which I can describe it as a colors of different hues as I spent my time contemplating on what I have been through. I got inspired to continue to make this into a abstract expression art pieces because I was able to understand that all those memories may lead into a brighter output. Now that I understand the things that happened to me the positive effect that ignites me to live. Each pieces contains a significant story of my family that deeply touches my inner persona.

My initial idea before was to create a video performance recreating my thoughts and experiences into action. However this idea was not possible because of lacking resources and led me to further exploration of painting techniques. I created various canvas sizes measuring three by three feet, three by four feet and four by six feet to proceed to painting.
